Common questions.

Two short videos from Dr. Winters, then the questions we hear most, in writing.

“How do you handle insurance?”

Dr. Winters breaks down how Winters Wellness addresses questions about insurance and coverage.

Getting the most from your time with us

How to prepare so your first visit does the most for you.

How do you handle insurance?

We’re an insurance-free practice. Our prices are low and published, there are no surprise fees, and most visits cost less than a typical office copay. That keeps our time on your case, and your care between you and your doctor. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds. Dr. Winters explains the reasoning in the video on this page.

Can you help me remotely? What if I live far away?

This question comes in often. Technology lets us do a great deal — a Zoom or phone consultation is how most long-distance patients start — but the exam and the care itself need you here. Patients from 30 states have made the trip, and we cluster visits and testing so a trip counts.

Do I book online?

You request a time online. A real person confirms it by text, usually the same business day (Monday to Thursday).

What happens at the first visit?

A real hour: your full health history, a HIDN® exam covering hormonal, immune, detoxification and neurological function, and a plain-English explanation of what we would test and why. Nothing is sold at visit one.

What is the Report of Findings?

Your second visit. Dr. Winters or Dr. Cassie reviews your exam and test findings with you and recommends a plan of care — with a schedule and a total. No surprises mid-stream.

What should I bring?

Any recent lab work, X-rays, MRIs or reports from the last two years that relate to your concern. Getting them to us 24 hours before your visit lets the doctor prepare. Fax 270-554-8795, email info@winterswellness.com, or bring them in.

Do you see children and teenagers?

Yes. Dr. Cassie has a particular focus on families, children and teens, and the gentle instrument adjusting we use is well suited to young patients — many say it tickles.

How long does care take?

It depends on the condition and your goals. Some people notice change within weeks; complex, long-standing conditions may take months. You will hear a realistic timeline at your Report of Findings, not a guess at the door.

Is the care safe?

The adjusting is instrument-based with very light force — no twisting, cracking or popping. Laser, PEMF, BioRegulation and neurofeedback are all non-invasive. We will tell you plainly if we are not the right office for you.
